a. An introduction statement about the topic utilizing a source to provide a statistic or supporting statement. (cite using an in-text citation).
b. Write at least one (1) sentence explaining how the topic relates to you or someone you know.

ii. Cite at least one (1) source to support the inclusion of these experiences as relevant to your discussion of the topic.

a. An introduction statement citing a source about the prevalence or impact of the topic in the United States and or worldwide.
i. An explanation statement in your own words of the importance of discussing the topic chosen.
b. An explanation statement of how the topic relates to or impacts society citing sources to support.
