recommend including at least a few references/sources to back up your argument (for example, data about the market value of the job, or data about how a raise is reasonable due to your assets and recent achievements, etc.).

· This speech is persuasive in nature, but it includes a lot of detailed information about you, the job, and why you are asking for a raise.
