In this assignment, you are asked to choose a social or political activist to write about. Try to choose someone who you do not know much about. Use the learning materials and any outside resources to write your paper.

Instructions:

1. Choose an activist and research their lives and experiences.

2. Write a 1-3 page paper, double spaced APA format answering the following:
–Whom did you choose? Why did you choose this person?
–Describe their life and include as much detail as you are able to find
–What are they known for? What kind of effect have they had on a movement, or in the world?
–Conclusion: Personal reflection of what you thought and felt about this activist

Requirements:
APA Format (Specific attention will be paid to: Title Page, Pg numbers, in text citations, and reference page) You do not need to have an abstract for this paper
