Aim To critical examine the efficacy of health promotion campaigns targeting populations BAME groups at high-risk from developing Type 2 diabetes in the UK Objective 1 To review how the UK Diabetes’ Type 2 diabetes awareness campaign has improved the health literacy and health behaviour of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities in the UK . Objective 2 To evaluate how the NHS Healthier You intervention has led to better diabetes management among BAME populations in the UK.
