The Endorsement of Capitalism by both the Beatles and art of the 1960’s

The goal for this research paper is to discuss The Beatlles (and their music) and art of the 1960’s (I was thinking Pop Art) and how they endorsed/promoted consumerism and capitalism. Feel free to make the connection with specific Beatles songs and 1960’s artworks.

The paper must include at least 6 scholarly sources with at least 2 from books and 2 from scholarly journals. It must also include a bibliography with citations as well as footnotes, endnotes, or parenthetical references.
